An intriguing perennial flower with foliage that looks like a thistle and flowers that are a lovely purple, globe shape approx. 2" across. Plants can reach almost 4 ft tall and readily self sow. This flower withstands a wide variety of weather and has done well in drought, unusually rainy seasons, -40C winter with and without snow. A favourite for pollinators.
