  • Are all your products certified organic?
    Yes! All our products undergo inspection annually. We are certified organic with Ecocert Canada.
  • When can I expect to receive my seeds in the mail?
    Our average shipping time is 5 - 7 business days from time of order. You will receive notification once your items have shipped.
  • Can I track my package?
    We ship with Canada Post. At time of checkout you will be offered the choice of regular mail, expedited, or express. If you wish to have your order tracked, select expedited or express.
  • What payment methods are accepted at Matchbox Garden Seed?
    We accept payment via Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Debit, PayPal, and Apple Pay.
  • Can I order seeds year round?
    Yes! While some of our seed stock sells out before our summer gets going, most of our varieties are in stock year round. So whether you're looking to stock up for next year, or get some more seed for this season, we have you covered.
  • Do you ship internationally?
    We do not currently ship to countries that require a phytosanitary certificate. If you are ordering from outside Canada, please confirm your countries requirements.
  • How long will my seeds last?
    Seeds have a shelf life of 2 - 10 years depending on species, proper harvest, processing, and storage. My advice for seed storage is COOL, DARK, DRY. You can store your seeds in a place that is on the cool side, out of direct sunlight, with low moisture in the air. We store all our seeds in glass jars at the farm.   • What can I do if my seeds do not grow?
    Contact us and we will help to figure out why they haven't grown for you. Our seeds are germination tested every November to meet national germination standards. There can be many environmental reasons for lack of germination or poor growth. While we guarantee our germination rates, we cannot take responsibility for issues regarding soil health, rain fall or lack there of, access to light, etc. We will do our best to help resolve your gardening issues, however, if we cannot remedy the problem we will happily refund you for the purchase value of your seed. *This offer is only available for seed purchased directly from us.
  • What is the refund policy at Matchbox Garden Seed?
    We offer a full refund within 30 days of purchase for seeds purchased directly from us. Products must be in their original condition and packaging.
  • Do you offer pick up options?
    Yes, we offer pick up options for local customers. Pick up options will be provided at check out.
  • Do you ship plants?
    No. Our seedlings are available for pick up only. We have 2 options for seedling pick up that are detailed at time of check out.
