Beefsteak - Kellogg's Breakfast

A popular heirloom beefsteak variety with sweet and mild flavour. Excellent for folks looking to get low acid varieties. Fruit range from 1 - 2 pounds with a deep yellow colour. This plant can reach up to 6ft and is a prolific producer as compared to other beefsteaks of similar size. Originally bred by a gardener in Michigan named Kellogg, no relation to the cereal! In researching the history of this variety, we have found the Kellogg's Breakfast tomato as far back as c. 1920. Indeterminate.
